February/March 2006

  • First edition of the Landulph Newsletter produced by a group of 6 volunteers in response to the Parish Plan.  
  • A grant from the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Sustainable Fund covered the costs of the first 3 editions.  Despite this grant, the newsletter contained adverts.  
  • This first edition established the structure and principles that exist today (August 2025) with a copy delivered free to all the houses in the parish.
  • Establishment of the Landulph Footpath Group with 3 walks being led in December finishing at the Spaniards Inn for a drink and lunch.

April/May 2006

  • Article from the Parish Council regarding the development of affordable homes.  
  • A grant from Awards for All supported the newsletter for the next year.  
  • A plea for someone to develop a website for the newsletter.

  • Barry and Karen Richards' Highcroft Gardens open as part of National Gardens Scheme
  • The fifth annual inter-parish Cricket Match between Landulph and Botus Fleming was won by a narrow margin by Botus Fleming.  Strangely, but not apparently unusually there were 14 players on each side.
