Nature Recovery in Landulph's Changing Climate
At the Winter Talk on 6 February 2023, Valerie Darwell, Project Officer at the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), discussed the importance of nature and nature based services (such as clean air, clean water, healthy soils, flood control and carbon storage) to human health and wellbeing. Due to a combination of factors, nature is struggling. Much of this is caused by human action, but we can also provide solutions. Val shared with us the important new Nature Recovery Plan for the Tamar Valley AONB. Val was joined by other local experts, giving everyone a chance to ask questions and get practical advice on what we can do here in Landulph. This will include ideas for your home and garden, as well as our shared public spaces.
