Waiting for the bus

Since May 2022, a bus runs every Wednesday leaving Cargreen at 11:00, to Carkeel and Saltash and returning at 13:00 with shoppers delivered to their door.  It is driven by volunteers with buses provided by the Saltash Red Bus.
This initiative arose from discussions at the Landulph Climate Group, as an experiment operated by Community Enterprises PL12.  Initially, the take up was small with only a few regulars; but gradually it has become established both as an opportunity to shop or visit appointments in Saltash and a social activity.

The bus is used by non-drivers and drivers alike. We have recently started a trial of a monthly Saturday bus - see events for dates.
