Launch of landulph.org.uk
The community website, Landulph.org.uk was launched on 3 December 2025 with a post in Landulph Init and a Parish Council email.

Landulph Init launch
The new Community Website is launched!
It isn’t our beloved Newsletter, nor our esteemed Innit. It works seamlessly with them but is a permanent record of everything Landulph.
It is, in effect, the Book of Landulph……
Boundless keeper of facts, photos, events and stories.
The Parish has been given this website. It has already a kernel of articles to fill its chapters, but it will always need more. The Editor (content manager) and admins see you, the residents of Landulph, as the Roving Reporters, and are eager to receive your contributions, be they an essay or a paragraph. Colourful, thoughtful, off-the-wall. All are welcome.

Parish Council email launch
This is an extra edition of the regular Landulph Parish Council email sent to subscribers in December 2025.
The newsletter lets you know about the launch of the new Landulph Community website at www.landulph.org.uk.
In the second edition of our paper newsletter, in April/May 2006 there was a plea for someone to develop a website for the newsletter. It has only taken nearly 20 years!
The upgrade of the Parish Council website to an official .gov domain (www.landulphparishcouncil.gov.uk) provided the reason to redevelop landulph.org.uk into a Community website as .gov websites should only contain official Council material.
We got a grant to dramatically change the look of landulph.org.uk and part-funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. We got an editor and a team of admins and started work in May 2025. With a lot of hard work we launch the website today.
This is only the start; Gill Mannings Cox, the editor, says "I see this website as the ‘Book of Landulph’ and in my mind it takes on the form of a huge tome, on the same scale as an old family bible but with the elastic sides that are the endless dimensions that a website can offer."
We have worked with the Newsletter Group to load up all of the paper Newsletters and have started to summarise the many interesting articles these contain. We have worked with Landulph Climate Group and Landulph Orchard Green to transfer the articles that were on the old Parish Council website. We have also loaded up new articles written by people within the Parish into chapters on people, water, history and arts.
The new website contains an events section - if you are running an event locally or know of a local event, you can submit this using the buttons at the bottom of the events page.
Please take the time to explore the new website, bookmark it so you can easily find out what's on. If you find a mistake, want to comment or write an article then please contact the editor on: editor@landulph.org.uk. If you have any comments on the content of this email, please contact:
