Christening the new tiered green meeting space in Duchess Green
Having had a hot dry summer, the weather broke before 31 August and the first Landulph Festival event in Duchess Green with very heavy rain passing through - at least the pond and trees appreciated it! Should we run the event in the Church or should we risk it?
In the event we took a chance and the sun shone to the very last note of Barrett's Privateers.
An audience of about 130, walked or came in a Saltash Red Bus from Landulph and other local areas with a few from further afield including 2 from Spain! Jason drove his landrover through the entrance track (now a little pond) to create the best popup bar.
An offgrid event with Martin's sound system powered by sun, WiFi powered by the sun and our new composting Woowoo Loo.
The event was supported by LOG and Landulph Festival volunteers, donations from the audience and part funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
